My name is Matylda, the creator of Her Coastal Stories. Here is my story of how I became women's photographer. It all started in 2023 when I moved to southern Spain and rented a flat in a small town on the east coast of Málaga province. While looking for friendships, I met many incredible women - some Spanish, others from across the world. To me, they were superheroes: fluent in several languages, running businesses, balancing family and career, dreaming big. They all had the same energy - the kind of energy that’s hard to put into words. The "I’m here to make the most out of this life" energy. I began hiking with them, exploring the local landscape and eventually photographing them in stunning natural settings. My photography background quickly merged with my love for all-things-outdoors. Not long after, Her Coastal Stories was born.
